it started out as "this is the thread" and then I decided to shamelessly run up the post count of the thread by changing it to "the last one to post on this thread wins."

Speaking of which, I believe I haven't posted this in a while... :#1: ;)

I'm apparently responsible for over 10% of all posts on this thread, a percentage formerly held by OT.

Congrats. I think I moved into the #10 slot surpassing Shos now at 3400+ posts.

I thought the count was a little low for you... I'm so frighteningly far behind all the other 'regulars' on here, I gotta have a goal of some kind....

Has anyone seen Avatar? I really love SciFi but the reviews I'm seeing are rather sad. The best one so far is "Just what I wanted to do on a Friday night, get a three hour anti-impereal lecture from smurfs"

I haven't seen it. There was a lot of build-up to the film's release, but the trailer just left saying 'Huh?".

I used to see a lot of movies. Nowadays, they have to be pretty good to get me to shell out the money to go see one at the theatre. I've seen too many unfunny comedies and high-budget, low-story remakes of movies that were done better before we had all the special effects technology that we have today.

Since I'm not planning on any more serious injuries laying me up for months at a time, I will have to be satisfied with relegation to the pack.

I think I can live with it...
